DBT & ACT for the Real World! Support Group

What are DBT & ACT Therapies?

DBT

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

DBT helps individuals embrace their thoughts, emotions, and actions, while equipping them with strategies to transform them. DBT not only focuses on developing personal skills but also places a great importance on enhancing interpersonal relationships.

ACT

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and commitment therapy is an intervention that relies on research and incorporates acceptance and mindfulness techniques, as well as commitment and behavior-change strategies, to enhance psychological flexibility.

Our online telehealth support group aims to provide practical solutions for real-life challenges by combining two supportive modalities: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (DBT and ACT).

By joining this group, you will receive support in creating the quality of life you desire. We will teach you valuable skills for building healthy relationships, enhancing self-awareness, improving communication, managing emotions effectively, living in alignment with your values, and developing coping strategies that truly work for you!

The DBT and ACT for the Real World group is led by Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Anna (LICSW), along with MSW-Intern named Crystal. Please note that this is a closed group, with a maximum of 8 members, to ensure an intimate and supportive environment. Unfortunately, new members will not be able to join while the current group is in progress.
