Katlyn Moreno, ACSW (#140374) is a bilingual, first-generation Chicana therapist who values creating a space where clients can show up authentically and explore the experiences that have shaped them. She is passionate about helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and their stories while building a life that feels meaningful to them.
Katlyn’s approach to therapy is integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centered. She draws from different therapeutic approaches based on each client’s individual needs. She works collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and identity while building practical tools for the present. Her work is grounded in cultural humility, curiosity, and an LGBTQIA+ affirming lens.
Her work is relational and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients build insight, reconnect with themselves, and move toward change in ways that feel sustainable and aligned.

Outside of therapy, Katlyn enjoys reading, staying active, spending time with loved ones, and exploring new places and experiences. She’s naturally curious and loves learning about different cultures, perspectives, and whatever new topic happens to catch her interest.
Katlyn earned her Master of Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino, where she studied Advanced Generalist Social Work. Her experience includes providing individual, family, and group therapy and working with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidality, and complex family dynamics. She is especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and culturally diverse communities.
